R. L. "Lee" Lamury is the founder of Word of Life Family Church and currently serves as the senior Pastor.  In 1979 the Lord dramatically broke into Pastor Lee's life.  He was gloriously saved, filled with the Spirit, and shortly thereafter called to preach the Gospel.  He was ordained in 1981 and with Nell, his wife which were married in 1971, pioneered WOLFC.  The first service was held on February 28, 1982.  There were 12 in attendance.  The Lord has blessed and through the years, the church has grown to an active membership of 700+ occupying 11 acres and 40k square feet of buildings.

Lee holds a B.S. and a Masters degree and has taught at various Christian Bible Colleges. He has traveled throughout the U.S. , Europe, and Central America, preaching, teaching and mentoring.  His strong teaching gift, practical insights and unique style and humor have made him a conference favorite wherever he has gone.  In recent years, the Lord has released him  to serve as an Apostolic father, becoming more a "Pastor to Pastors".
