We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating. What should I wear? Where do my kids go? We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel right at home when you visit.

WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS WORD OF LIFE?

We are a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, family-focused church that is serving the world. We believe that Jesus Christ and his message of hope and freedom is at the center of our ministry. We are a Non-Denominational church and believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the endowment of Spiritual gifts in order to be witnesses to the world. We believe that God's desire is for every family to be grounded in Him. Lastly, we desire that our church family become disciples of Christ sharing the gospel & serving the world.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

There is no dress code for attending services at Word of Life. Some attendees dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good! You are free to come exactly as you are.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?

You’ll be greeted by a friendly smile from one of our welcome team members. You can check your children into our kids ministry, Life Kids. There will be a 5-minute countdown to let you know when the service will start, so you can be sure to get your seat before the service begins!

WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?

We start our services with a time of energetic, passionate praise followed by a few announcements about what's happening in the church. After announcements we give you an opportunity to give followed by a time of prayer and worship. Following worship, we flow right into the weekend message. Most weekends, our Lead Pastor, Mark E. Gowan will preach.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Our Life Kids ministry provides a fantastic weekend experience. Visit the Life Kids check-in kiosk where our team will register your children and give them a name badge with a parent pick-up tag. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. If we need to contact you during service, our check-in system can send you a text message with any information involving your child. At the end of the service simply show your parent pick-up tag to the teacher in your child’s classroom and your child will be released to you.

HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?

The best way to get connected is through The Red Book classes. The Red Book is a four-week experience that meets on campus during an on-demand basis. In The Red Book, you’ll hear our story, catch the vision and values of our church, and find out how you can join into what God is doing here at Word of Life.
